Polluted stormwater and public indifference are the biggestthreats to the DuPage River, a citizens group said in outlininghazards facing the waterway.
The lack of public appreciation for and interest in the rivercould prove more harmful in the long run than even technical problemssuch as polluted runoff, erosion or paved-over floodplains, the groupsays.
